Ara James Najarian
Ara was born and spent his youth in Ohio. Ara attended Occidental College and graduated with an economics degree. Ara then entered USC law School and graduated with his law degree in 1985.
Ara worked in the Washington DC office of Glendale Congressman Carlos Moorehead. He also worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office in the Glendale branch office and then in the narcotics division under current DA Steve Cooley.
Ara entered private practice and opened his law office in Glendale in 1988 specializing in consumer law. Ara volunteered to serve the courts as a Judge Pro Tem for many years in Glendale and Van Nuys. He served on the Glendale Transportation and Parking Commission for 7 years and was Chairman for 2 years.
In 2003 Ara was elected to the Glendale Community College Board of Trustees. Ara was elected to the Glendale City Council in 2005 and was the highest vote getter among 18 candidates.
In 2006, Ara was elected to serve on the MTA Board of Directors and will serve as Chairman of the MTA from 2010-2011.
Ara was selected to be Mayor for the city of Glendale for the 2007-2008 year. He was Chairman of the Housing Authority from 2006-2007. Currently Ara serves as the Chairman of the Glendale Redevelopment Agency.
Ara has been active in the Armenian community for many years and serves as a director of Medical Outreach for Armenians and assists his parents, Dr. Vartkes Najarian amd Mary Najarian in providing medical assistance to Armenia and Karabagh
Ara is married to Darlene, his lovely wife of 18 years, and they are blessed with two boys, ages 14 and 11.

Bob Yousefian
Bob Yousefian has been a Glendale resident for 32 years. He has been a general contractor since 1980. In 2001, Bob was elected to Glendale City Council. He became Mayor in 2004 and was re-elected to the council in 2005. In the past 8 years Bob has held the following positions:

- Chairman, Glendale Redevelopment Agency
- President of the Bob Hope Airport Authority
- President, Glendale Beautiful
- President, Homeowners Coordinating Council
- Member, League of California Cities
- Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals
- Board member, Independent Cities Association
- Treasurer, President's Advisory Council
- Member, Glendale Chamber of Commerce
- Member, Armenian Society of Los Angeles
In 2002 Bob helped launched the city's first "Week of Remembrance" to raise awareness about man's inhumanity to man and to commemorate the Armenian Genocide. He donated his own funds to place a marker at the future sight of Glendale's historic genocide memorial.
Bob was born in Tehran on Christmas Eve. He is 52 years old and is the eldest of 3 brothers. He's married to his wife Sue. They both enjoy spending time with their dog Shadow, completing weekend chores and gardening.
