Any registered voter may vote by vote-by-mail ballot.

Your county elections official also includes an application for a vote-by-mail ballot in the sample ballot sent to you prior to each election.

When must I apply for a vote-by-mail ballot?
       Election officials process applications and mail vote-by-mail ballots beginning on March 9, 2009 through March 31, 2009.
       You may submit an application before March 9, 2009. The election officials cannot accept any applications received in the after March 31, 2009.
       You can also just drop by the City Clerk's office between March 9, 2009 and April 7, 2009 to cast your vote early.

What information must be included in my application?
Your application must include your printed name, your residence address, the address to which you want the vote-by-mail ballot sent (if different from your residence address), and the name and date of the election for which you are applying. In addition, you must sign and date your application.
